Mostly all the people I know are quick to judge, so they don’t take the time to think about other peoples intentions. Many things happen in  this world that many never intended; Some good, and some bad. But, most people usually think no, they did ”this”, I will  judged them by “that.” They think just because someone does somthing they think is bad, that it is bad. They don’t think about the persons intentions, or plans they had in mind.

People should be judged by their intentions, because in this crazy, topsey-turvy world we live in, we never know what will happen. Intentions don’t always lead to actions, but the intentions are still thought. Actions don’t occur without intentions, so intentions are more important. The thought behind actions is what makes actions occur.  Intentions are something you think, not what you say. You may tell someone your intentions, but they dont think anything of it. For example. Rosa Parks made a huge impact of segregation of buses in America. She sat down to stand up, and it was all planned. She wanted to do something about segregation, and she was determined the second that bus driver stepped forward.

When anything goes wrong you tell someone what you intended not what happened. They already know what happened they just want to know why, but you are still blamed for your mistakes, it doesn’t matter what you say.

Once a bad person always a a bad person?? We have jails and prisons, but all they do is treat bad people cruelly. Shouldn’t we be working on turning those bad people good. To do this we can change their intentions to work towards changing the world to “not such a bad place.” If these people can change their perspective on the world their intentions will go along with it. Intentions alway matter more than actions.

I was tagged by my teacher Paul Bogush. This question did not take long ot answer, because i know myself better than anyone else. I find joy in the most simple of things. These include……

1. Coming home from a good day at school. A good day could include getting a good grade, being praised by a teacher (it doesn’t happen that often :) ), or just having a lot of fun with my friends. After a day like this I like to go into my room, turn up the music, and dance like there’s no tomorrow. This seems really silly, but it is actually really fun.(even if I am weird for doing it).

2. Having a good day with my family without any fighting is always great. Considering I have four other siblings, this doesn’t always happen so often.

3. Going outside and playing a good game of wiffle ball with my brother and younger sisters. We have so many laughs that it is not possible that brothers and sisters can have that much fun.

4. Being at South Carolina. As i have said in other posts, I am completely obsessed with the beach. I love the feeling of the sand in between my toes, and the warm water against my skin. the beach is such a peaceful place but at the same time it can bring a lot of fun to my day.

5. Reading a good book. Ever since second grade, when i had to get extra help in  reading i have loved it. There is nothing better than to sit in a corner and read a good book. Some of my favorites to read are the Twilight Saga.

6. Watching love movies with my friends at sleepovers. This is just a routine for my friends and I ,but we still have so much fun while doing it. It is so much fun just to have  a girls night for once.

Ten things to do before I die

1) Move someplace warmer and bring all of my family with me! I am sick of snow and ready for summer.

2) Race Micheal Phelps in an Olympic pool. (Even though I will get my but kicked..) I am also a big fan of his and admire all of his accomplishments.

3) Go skydiving. I have always wondered how people feel when there falling from so high up

4) Ride a hot air balloon. I would love to see the scenery of a fall day, because of all the pretty colors. When I  get older I want my life to be full of adventure.  :)

5) Get a German Shepard. I am completely and utterly in love with them. They are the most loving and playful dogs. : )My mom won’t get me one because they shed, but what else would you use a vacuum for?

6) Become a pediatrician. I love working with little kids, and I love science. Go Mr. Nagel!!

7) Provide for my mom and dad. I always feel I should give back to them, for all that they have done with me.

8 ) Study among the most well known Scientists and help find a cure for cancer. I know this is definitely a long shot, but I want to be remembered for changing the world before I die.

9) Find my soul mate. I know it is corny, but I believe there really is someone for everyone out there. And…….

10) Put a family together with at least three kids. Mom my had five, and i think she is crazy. I think so because I know that we sometimes drive her up a wall! :)

Julie, a friend of mine, tagged me to write this post. It didn’t take very long to write, because I have been wondering about what I want to do when I get older and my goals in life.

My Special Place

My wonderful place is in South Carolina in  United States. We stay in a house that is within walking distance to the beach. Somtimes I like to just go with one of my cousins and walk on the beach before dinner. There isn’t many people there at night so it is very peaceful. There is the sound of the waves, the birds flying in the sky, the heat against my skin, the sand on my feet, and the wind through my hair. After a walk on the beach there is no way to describe my feeling. I feel like I never want to leave, because I am so at ease. haha..

One Wish, Yes…but Who?

If you could make one wish, just one, what would it be?

This question was the HARDEST question I ever had to answer. I came to a conclusion that I couldn’t get past my care for my family and friends to pick just one. I want everyone to reach their goals in life, and I want them to make their dreams come true. Not everyone gets to live their dreams, and I wish I could give everyone that chance. If I had to pick just one person I would pick the person who was farthest from their dreams or goals, because more people would get their dreams to come true. This is really hard to explain but here it goes. Someone with the drive to reach their dreams, or someone with the right tools, or maybe just someone who doesn’t take no for an answer is more likely to get what they want. Help me by passing on the message to everyone around the world, that all of our dreams can come true with a little drive, and some magic.

Bringing Us Together

A Class Like No Other……?

So far, this year has totally changed my perspective on school. I absolutely love all of my teachers and classes, but one class had stood out from the rest, social studies. Our teacher Mr. Bogush, has a totally different view on teaching and learning. Our class is totally digital. All of our projects are recorded as a podcast, and we almost never use the book. Now, how do we learn? Mr. Bogush says that if you have to study for something, then you haven’t learned it, and I agree. All of the reasearch  we do in this class, not only helps me understand the history behind the United States, but puts me in the minds of the people who were there. Now, I’m not saying I could really relate to people who had to hitch hike across the U.s on the Oregon Trail, but I can understand them better, because I found the information from so many different sources.

Everyone has bee asked this question over and over again: What would want want to change in the world? I have always said “World Peace.” A post from the Bringing us together blog has inspired me to ask all of you is: What must you do to be the change you want to see in the world?

It took me a while to come up with an answer for this question, because you really had to think carefully about what you were going to say. I would say that I would have to change the way I do things around what other people want. I have always cared what other people thought about me. I bet everyone has done this before to avoid being judged. I guess that were all human so it is bound to happen sometime. This feeling can stop me from stepping out into the crowd and trying to change the world because someone would ask me “why” or say: Why would you waste your time with that? To all of those kind of people out there my answer is “Because I want to grow up and change the world. I want to change myself so that I can change the world. And, why set your your goals in life any lower than to  change the world.”

So give me an answer: What must you do to be the change you want to see in the world?

Bringing Us Together

Mr. President

Here in America, a new president has just been elected. His name is Barack Obama. His inauguration occurred yesterday. After he was sworn in he gave his inaugural speech. The speech was well written and had many good points and quotes. Our teacher, Mr. bogush decided that is would be a good idea if we could write our own speech but it could only be 2 minutes long. Here is my speech as President Barck Obama:

All my fellow Americans,
I stand here today just receiving the presidential oath of office. I can’t thank president George bush enough for his willingness and cooperation throughout this change in Presidential office. I also thank the citizens of the united states. For if it wasn’t for your trust in me I would not be standing here today.

Here in the United States we have gone through so much these past years. The raging economy, a war that has killed millions, raising health care costs, loss of jobs and businesses, and even homes being lost. Now is the time for change. A change in this nation willingness to get things done and to stop what is happening.

With the economy, a change must happen fast or we are going to fall fast. The economy effects many aspects of our life that will be eliminated with it broken, but it will be fixed faster than ever, with new jobs and a sturdy foundation. Jobs with a wage that any American citizen can do to bring home money to their families. While in this process many new fuels will be formed to power cars, factories, and other buildings. Health care and retirement costs will be lowered. The housing market will be rebuilt with lowered mortgages for homeowners, and the new system of Home for easy comparison.

All these changes start today.

It is time for congress, the supreme court, and Me the president of the United States to stand and change America. To rise and to stop criticizing but to start doing, to alter our way of life. To take on more responsibility not only as a parent or a husband, but as an American citizen. These responsibilities will include remaking America piece by piece. By taking the troops out of Iraq, rebuilding the economy, and using the natural elements to our advantage. It is times like these that make us remember the hardships past leaders had gone through, and how they have come out of it.

Thank you

Radio Show

In School we did a podcast that revolves around Clay Burell post on his scedule when doing the news. We were given a few articles from our textbook, and we had to condense them into 20-30 seconds for each article. We then recorded with our partner as if we were really on the radio. Here is my script:
Napoleon Bonaparte, who is in control if Europe,  has a plan for the French that includes making them the control of Europe. To do this he sent his troops to capture Saint Dominique, so he could occupy Louisiana. L’Ouverture, who is a former slave, and his troops put up a fight and won, but he got captured. One of the reasons they lost was that The French had an outbreak of yellow fever. Our leaders are watching napoleon Bonaparte  with a lot of suspicion, because if the French occupied New Orleans it could block the future westward expansion. New Orleans has been owned by the French then Spanish for forty years and now it is under Spanish rule. They wanted it because it had rich cultural heritage, and growing economic importance.
Robert Livingston was sent to France to buy New Orleans and Florida from them. He met with the minister Charles Talleyrand to discuss the trade. He was wondering how much they would offer him, or if they would even sell it. Before help from mr Lincoln arrived, they already offered it to him. They paid 15 million dollars to buy it although they were only authorized to spend 10.

Since the deal is not official yet Mr. Lincoln is worrying, but the senate will approve it soon to make it official. He thought that the French would withdraw the offer. Then the Louisiana Purchase was created on October 20, and approved by the senate. Because of the purchase the United States had s doubled. The president is pleased with his purchase, because it is a great opportunity of agricultural expansion, and has doubled the size of our country.

Cheetos

My favorite snack would have to be Cheetos puffs. Even though my mom doesn’t buy them much they are still my favorite. One time I was at my Grandmothers house, and she had a bag of Cheetos puffs. I ate the  whole bag by myself. Good thing it was half empty or I would have eaten those too. But, other than Cheetos I don’t have snacks very often. I just stick to breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
